About.

BodyLeap exists because a number without a reason is a poor coach. The app reads your own health, sleep and training history on your phone, works out what today is for, and shows you the reasoning, including the days when the honest answer is that there is less to go on.

It is deliberately conservative. When a signal is thin, the app says so. When the evidence supports only a general guideline, the card says it is a general guideline. The plans are informed by peer reviewed research, and a curated set of that evidence is visible inside the app, on the References screen.

Research does not settle every number a training plan needs. Where a value is a coaching convention or a deliberately cautious default rather than a finding, we mark it as one instead of dressing it up as science. The References screen shows which is which.

The people

The people building BodyLeap are the people using it. They train, and they wanted a training app honest enough to trust with their own week. Everyone appears here as themselves, doing what they actually do on it.
